Art with Potential is an art competition and silent auction event. Eight youth artists* will compete for one cash prize, with completed art pieces available for silent auction. Other silent auction pieces will include getaways, activities and products. All proceeds from the event will support Raising the Roof’s Child and Family Homelessness initiative

*Youth artists (18-25) may include at-risk or homeless youth. Artists will receive a portion of the sale price of their art.

Art with Potential is not only a fundraiser to support Raising the Roof’s work towards long-term solutions to homelessness. It is an opportunity for youth to build their portfolio of work and receive compensation.

At Raising the Roof, we know that employment is a critical success factor for at-risk and homeless youth. By supporting eight youth artists with an opportunity to showcase their talents and passion, we can pave the way for their brighter future.

Art with Potential will take place at 6:00 pm on Thursday October 23rd, 2014.

The venue is Ada Slaight Hall in Daniels Spectrum at 585 Dundas Street East in Toronto, ON.
