xpressed by these banners, the words =E2=80=9Cvaguely reassuring=E2=80=9D a=
re meant to simultaneously describe and offer a half-hearted attempt at pos=
itive reinforcement.=0A=0A Amber Landgraff uses multiples, text and perform=
ance to examine issues of miscommunication, sentimentality, vulnerability a=
nd nostalgia. She has offered samples of breakups in public spaces, sold an=
d bartered spontaneous love poems, and used signage to display personal con=
fessions in public locations. She lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
