ating up across the country to qualify for a spot in the upcoming 2013 Nati=
onal Championship.  Current champion Yared Nigussu will defend his title ag=
ainst winners from across Canada.=20

16 painters will compete in a one-night tournament of skill and courage, th=
e audience will decide by vote who deserves to be the champion. We are so p=
roud of the painters that step up to the easel, it=E2=80=99s always an insp=
iring evening!

Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they=
 can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely w=
atching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools all=
owed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the e=
nd of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite pain=
ting and bids in silent auction to take the work home.
