r Hall and will feature loud rock n roll of Odonis Odonis, Indian Handcraft=
s, and Young Mother. Doors open at 8pm and admission is only $5 at the door=
 with all proceeds from ticket sales going back to the community through th=
e Artists=E2=80=99 Health Centre Foundation. =20

About the Bands
Odonis Odonis
Based out of Toronto, Canada, Odonis Odonis is a three-piece industrial sur=
f-gaze outfit fronted by Dean Tzenos and backed by Jarod Gibson (Thighs) an=
d Denholm Whale (Cartoons).  Wrapping every song with deep sea reverb and c=
old fingertips, Odonis Odonis distills the vitals of pop and experimentatio=
n.Molded at a young age by the sounds of indie, new wave and industrial mix=
-tapes passed on by Dean=E2=80=99s elder sisters, Odonis Odonis harkens to =
The Jesus & Mary Chain, Pixies, Big Black and The Cure. Like a good post-mo=
dernist, however, these influences merely colour, but do not define Odonis =
Odonis. In May 2011, Odonis Odonis issued its first release, the limited ed=
ition Busted Lip/Handle Bars 7=E2=80=9D on We Are Busy Bodies; followed by =
 a split 12=E2=80=B3 with Lotus Plaza (Deerhunter=E2=80=99s Lockett Pundt) =
on Palmist.  Signing with FatCat in June 2011, Odonis Odonis has a new plat=
form for its staggering catalogue of material including the recently releas=
ed full-length, Hollandaze(November 2011) and the forthcoming Soft Boiled H=
ard Boiled (Fall  2012). From melodic and ethereal to brash and relentless,=

Indian Handcrafts
Toronto noise rock duo Indian Handcraftssigned with U.S. label Sargent Hous=
e to deliver the follow-up to their self-titled 2011 debut. The upcoming re=
cord called Civil Disobedience for Losers will be released on October 30th =
2012. This 11-song sophomore set was recorded in Los Angeles last March wit=
h Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business, Red Sparowes). The twosome Allen and =
drummer-vocalist Brandyn James Aikins laid down the bulk of the work themse=
lves, but Melvinsskinpounders Dale Crover and Coady Willis stop by to deliv=
er rounds of military snare on opener =E2=80=9CBruce Lee.=E2=80=9D=20

Young Mother
Young Mother is =E2=80=9Cfour fundamental forces of nature=E2=80=9D and beg=
an as a noisy, improvisational free jazz collective with a mix of post punk=
. Now Magazine describes Young Mother=E2=80=99s full-length LP as =E2=80=9C=
the young locals have tightened their sound into an insistent machine of om=
inous textures and barely resolved tension. Nodding to space and Krautrock =
bands like Can and Neu!, they weave nimble guitar licks and saxophone bleat=
s with tightly wound bass and drum rhythms. The structures often resemble e=
lectronic music more than rock, though none of the instrumentation is digit=
