On the first day of the Chinese New Year, February 10th , 2013, there will =
be opening ceremonies from 12-12:45pm at Chinatown Centre (222 Spadina Ave.=
) followed by Dragon City Mall (280 Spadina Ave.) from 1-2pm with lion danc=
ing along with dignitaries and the media.

On February 8th and 9th, Chinatown Centre will have performances ranging fr=
om musical arrangements, dancing and singing from 12pm to 6pm on both days.=
 Come and enjoy the free show and experience what the Chinese culture is al=

As the Chinese New Year approaches, the Chinatown BIA would like to wish ev=
eryone a prosperous and happy new year. Chinatown has become a vibrant area=
