Thanks to the hard work of local Comedian Natalie Norman, who took initiati=
ve to organize a comedy show to support anti-sexual violence action and sur=
vivors in Toronto, we=E2=80=99re inviting you to a comedy night packed with=
 Toronto talent.=20

We know many people involved in feminism and fighting oppression are told t=
hat we take things =E2=80=98too seriously=E2=80=99, and often have our pers=
pectives minimized with stereotypes, like that of the =E2=80=98Humourless F=
eminist=E2=80=99. We also know the value of creating alternative, safer spa=
ces where communities can connect by challenging labels and gathering toget=
her.=20

This will be like any other comedy night, but with proceeds going to the To=
ronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape, and with no rape=
 jokes, or other cheap-shot oppressive humour.=20

And sometimes, we really just need to laugh.=20

$10 suggested donation (proceeds to TRCC/MWAR, so please dig deeper if you =
