=0AIn The Archivists, artists Felix Kalmenson, Zoe Solomon, and Melissa Fis=
her collect and arrange materials from their everyday activities: visiting =
the library, reading the daily news and recycling.  These activities are re=
peated, forming a ritualized process. Solomon compulsively saves her librar=
y withdrawal slips, forming an on-going narrative or documentary portrait o=
f the artist as researcher. Fisher composes symmetrical site-specific insta=
llations, using collected materials and materials from previous installatio=
ns, composing, photographing and reproducing them as printed motifs on fabr=
ic in an endless process of self-reflexivity.  Finally, Kalmenson's compute=
r installation prints various daily newspaper editorials on a looped surfac=
e, with each proceeding set of text overlapping the previous. Kalmenson=E2=
=80=99s layered text renders the pointed content of each article as a singu=
lar, conflicted band of visual noise.=0A=0AWINDOW SPACE=0AFa=C3=A7ade=0AFeb=

=C3=A7ade acts as a veneer over the white interior of the window space. Usi=
ng a material approach that embodies the artificiality and impermanence of =
a Potemkin Village (the Russian minister=E2=80=99s attempt at deceptive tem=
porary cloak of prosperity to cover the effects of drought), the decal is c=
reated out of large sections of masking and duct tape, materials commonly u=
sed for temporary repair.=0A=0AMiedzik work responds to architectural space=
 and considers our interactions with it--the shifting face of neighborhoods=
, and the renovation and gentrification that accompany our migrations.=0A=

 Szabo=0A=0AMakeshift Music is a collection of interactive sculptures that =
requires viewer participation. Each sculpture is constructed using reused a=
nd recycled materials that have been put together to create objects that pr=
oduce sound. The work is meant to directly involve the audience to achieve =
a performative experience unique to each viewer's interaction with the piec=
e as well as others in the gallery space around them.=0A=0AEXTERNAL SPACE=

urated by Jennifer Simaitis=0A=0Ao i=E2=80=99m lisa is a conjoined video ab=
out =E2=80=9CLisa=E2=80=9D. It features the artist=E2=80=99s best friend an=
d sister styled as the artist=E2=80=99s avatar in an attempt to embody and =
present an accurate portrait of the artist. o i=E2=80=99m lisa reflects on =
the value of self or existing as a person in the experience of other people=
. The video is rendered through the essential memories and details of the a=
