Internationally renowned Graphic Designer Stefan Sagmeister is as celebrate=
d for his commercial work for brands like LEVI=E2=80=99s or his album cover=
s for The Rolling Stones and Talking Heads as he is for his provocative pub=
lic art installations.

The Happy Show offers visitors the experience of walking into the designer=
=E2=80=99s mind as he attempts to increase his happiness via mediation, cog=
nitive therapy, and mood-altering pharmaceuticals. =E2=80=9CI am usually ra=
ther bored with definitions,=E2=80=9D Sagmeister says. =E2=80=9CHappiness, =
however, is just such a big subject that it might be worth a try to pin it =
down.=E2=80=9D Centered around the designer=E2=80=99s ten-year exploration =
of happiness, this exhibition presents typographic investigations of a seri=
es of maxims, or rules to live by, originally culled from Sagmeister=E2=80=
=99s diary, manifested in a variety of imaginative and interactive forms.
