s an incredible variety of rarely-performed music to Toronto audiences.=20

This original programme is made up of three pieces, which have never before=
 been performed together. The jewel in the program is Duke Ellington=E2=80=
=99s Nutcracker Suite, a reimagining of Tchaikovsky=E2=80=99s The Nutcracke=
r through the prism of jazz. The show is rounded out by Stravinsky=E2=80=99=
s Ebony Concerto and Shostakovich=E2=80=99s Jazz Suite No. 1.=20

Art of Time Ensemble regulars John Johnson, Benjamin Bowman, Andrew Downing=
, Kevin Turcotte and Davide Di Renzo are joined by jazz giants Mike Murley,=
 Al Kay, John MacLeod, David Occhipinti, Don Rooke and a who=E2=80=99s who =
of Canadian jazz artists.

The Big Band Show will be on stage for two nights only at the intimate Enwa=
