The 2012 FOOL- festival of oral literatures is an international celebration=
 of the arts of voice and story.  FOOL was founded in 2009 by Lisa Pijuan-N=
omura and Dan Yashinsky as a place where artists from many disciplines can =
explore contemporary storytelling.  It unfolds as a series of urban campfir=
es in cafes, galleries, theatres, and farmers=E2=80=99 markets.=20

The 2012 edition features Jan Blake, from England, who brings stories from =
her Jamaican ancestry; Ron Evans, a Metis mythteller and oral historian; Re=
n=C3=A9e Robitaille, from Qu=C3=A9bec.  Local performers include Susan Coyn=
e, Rainos Mutamba, Brian Katz, Charly Chiarelli, Morgan Jones Phillips, Zab=
rina Chevannes, Jennifer Dick, Celia Lottridge, and many more.
