This original exhibition comes from the depths of the SPORT magazine archiv=
e, featuring some of the greatest =E2=80=93 and a few lesser-known - player=
s of hockey=E2=80=99s stirring Original Six era. An exquisite mix of narrat=
ive and imagery, the collection leverages both photographic and textual ele=
ments in a 12-piece series that aims to revive the greatest era of Canada's=
 greatest sport.

Travel back to a simpler time, when they played for the love of the game as=
 much as the four-figure salaries; when there were no helmets,faces were vi=
sor-less and mask-less, and jerseys were nameless. The 1942-1967 era of the=
 National Hockey League, spanning 25 seasons with just six teams following =
the folding of the New York Americans in the summer of 1942, arguably endur=
es as the most cherished, most memorable time in hockey=E2=80=99s rich hist=
ory.
