Gingy & Bordello got their start when their first original production was d=
iscovered and championed by the likes of Simian Mobile Disco and Brodinski.=
 =E2=80=98Vaporizer=E2=80=99 was released on UK-based imprint =E2=80=98This=
 Is Music,=E2=80=99 and soon after, they found themselves signed to Turbo R=
ecordings for =E2=80=98Body Acid=E2=80=98, released in Fall 2011.=20

The release clocked high on the hype radar with support from the likes of i=
ndustry big-shots Soulwax, as well as Erol Alkan, who claimed =E2=80=9CRigh=
t now, for me, it=E2=80=99s simply the best club record out there. If this =
can=E2=80=99t rescue a dancefloor then humanity is doomed.=E2=80=9D

2012 is set to be a breakthrough year for the hotly tipped Sino-Italian duo=
, whose latest EP "Iron & Water" has received nods from the likes of Ben UF=
O, Randomer, Norman Nodge, Untold, and many others.

Kevin McPhee's house and techno feels like a human had a hand in it. The be=
ats are always a bit chunky, the edges rarely rounded off. Over the past fe=
w years, the Canadian DJ/producer has released records on some of the under=
ground's most respected imprints=E2=80=94[nakedlunch], Idle Hands and the H=
ypercolour-affiliated Hype_LTD among them.=20

Ranging anywhere from slow house to ambient garage to straight-ahead bangin=
g techno, McPhee has tried out plenty of sounds, with the only recurring fe=
ature thus far being a marked love of sampled vocals and that aforementione=
d handcrafted approach to beatmaking.=20
