Recessioname Street
The street just got a whole lot less friendly. Stock markets are in free fall, once-mighty auto companies are hanging by a thread and the creators of Sesame Street, the Sesame Workshop, have laid off 20% of their employees!
The parody puppets of the Bad Dog cook up a one-night-only, satirical take on our favourite kids show: Recession-ame Street.
From the muppets, to the songs, to the people that you meet in your neighbourhood, the recession has downsized them all into a leaner, meaner, slightly obscener, educational program.
The cast features some of Bad Dog's newest and best performers, including Chris Gibbs (fringe festival darling of Antoine Feval and The Power of Ignorance), Hannah Hogan (YTV's That's So Weird!), Graeme Stewart (Theatresports), and Bad Dog regulars Devon Hyland, Ashley Comeau and Connor Thompson.
