2013 Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 5k & 10k

Founded by Newmarket resident, Joe Persechini, the Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k is York Region’s longest running fundraiser for children and youth with physical disabilities. Over the past 36 years, this popular community event has become an indelible fixture in York Region, raising nearly $3.8 million to help children and youth with physical disabilities.

Expected to attract over 1,000 enthusiastic participants in 2013, the Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k provides a challenge for serious runners, while also offering a fun and family-friendly event for walkers.
