Toronto Nepali Film Festival

Toronto Nepali FIlm Festival (TNFF) 2013 is taking place on March 8 and 9. The two day festival shall show case films that pertain to Nepal or the Nepali people, and is open to Filmmakers from all over the world. The festival is organized with the goal of promoting Nepal's rapidly emerging and vibrant independent film making and adding a distinctive voice to Toronto's film and cultural landscape.

This year 11 extra ordinary films mostly from Nepal, and also Europe, have made it through the screening. The fourth annual festival will be opening on the evening of March 8 with the film Dashdhunga playing at 252 Bloor St. West (OISE Auditorium). The second and main day of the festival will be in Innis Town Hall of University of Toronto, 2 Sussex Avenue. Dhulo, Cellphone, Bansuli, False Spring, Enemy of Ghosts, Yomari Ya Bankhan, Kadamandu, Chhintang Doesn't Believe in Tears, and Mukundo are the selected films. In addition to the films, there will be a food stall selling delicious Nepali Cuisine and performance featuring local artists.
