Wreckage Sunday #1 at Rancho: Pre Family Day Party!

Two turntables, an awesome amount of vinyl, cheap drinks, good people and no work on Monday morning? What does that equal? A reason to have a damn good time we think.

Myself (Dan Wolovick) owner of Two Way Monologues and long time booker of Rancho Relaxo and Antony Easy part of GreenShades promo company and an all around sweet dude have teamed up to bring you Wreckage Sundays at Rancho Relaxo!

The night will have a nice early start of 8 pm and go all the way to last call if people keep hanging around! The night will have free cover till about 10ish and after that will be $5. There will also be a drink special TBA closer to the date.

Local record shop Of a Kind hooked us up with an insane box of vinyl that we'll be spinning from as well as our own personal collections and you can bring in stuff you want to hear as well! We won't be spinning one genre specific, my (Dan's) collection consists of vintage stuff, tons of local indie I've got over the years and a bunch of awesome current records. The last three albums I got were Math the Band, Old World Vulture and Lee Fields for example. The Of a Kind stuff which you can actually buy right off the turntables if you like it ranges from the Stones to the Ninja Turtles soundtrack to Stevie Wonder to Chicago!

We aren't looking to be a wild dance party that so many people don't want to go. We are just looking to play some awesome, weird and sometimes maybe even kinda bad vinyl and have a good time doing so. If a dance floor breaks out that is awesome and if it doesn't that is just fine as well.

This will be every Sunday eventually but for now we want to do this one, take a month off to work the kinks out. Then we'll be back at you on St. Paddy's day and after CMW every Sunday thereafter!
