Veda Hille is one of Canada’s most enduringly original musical artists, known for finding inspiration in random fragments of text and melody and stitching them together with furiously-expressive and often dissonant musical passages. Her new project is the original cast recording to the Jessie Award-winning musical Peter Panties, in which she takes lyrics composed by ground-breaking playwrights Marcus Youssef and Niall McNeil, who has Downs Syndrome, and shapes them into a dramatic score.
