December 2012 marks the conclusion of a b'ak'tun — a time period in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. The last day does not mean the arrival of any calamity; instead, it implies a whole new awareness and transition towards a new civilization.

'Beyond B'ak'tun' is an officially sanctioned Burning Man event and the annual outreach event for the Burner community in Ontario. It is our chance to share our principals: Radical Inclusion - Gifting - Decommodification - Radical Self-reliance - Radical Self-expression - Communal Effort - Civic Responsibility - Leaving No Trace - Participation - Immediacy
