Ryerson Review of Journalism Fundraiser

To make things clear let's not think of this as a fundraiser.

Let's think of it this way. This is a golden excuse to get unreasonably intoxicated (this is a joke please drink responsibly, we don't condone alcohol abuse) in a bar that we have exclusively rented with 200 of your closest friends. There will be ample room for you to make poor decisions that will make that copy editing class on Thursday extremely awkward.

There will be appetizers and drink specials all night.

There will be musical entertainment. TBA - everyone loves a good surprise - am I right?

Also there are some raffles. Some really good raffles. In fact I was tempted to keep the prizes for myself but I learned from Ivor in journalism ethics that was bad.

Prizes are from such fine establishments as:
The Keg
Z-Teca
Eaton Centre
Imperial Pub
ARMED The Jewelry Closet
Etc.

So basically think of this as a good venue for you to trade in your National Posts and all those 60 Minutes episodes you tivo'd, and have a good time with people you know, new people that you'll meet, people you probably hate and everything in between.

Oh yeah, and all the profits from the ticket sales go to support our beloved Ryerson Review of Journalism, the magazine that is put together by 4th year students as their Capstone project.
