Toronto Talks: The Future of Our City

Edward Keenan and Ivor Tossell lead a participatory event on Toronto politics called Toronto Talks: The Future of Our City.

Keenan is senior editor and lead columnist at The Grid and writes widely on politics, sports and culture. He shares his new book Some Great Idea, which shows how the fundamental principles of diversity and democracy that made Toronto a vibrant, dynamic 21st-century city can produce an unlikely politician like Rob Ford.

Tossell, who has been writing about cities, technology, business and culture since 2005, is the author of The Gift of Ford, the story of a mayor who unwittingly made possible a resurgence of the urban values that unite conservatives and liberals alike.

In this unique event, select presenters will share their great ideas for Toronto’s future.
