Claudio Aprile — chef and owner of Toronto restaurants Origin and Colborne Lane — considers Culinary U Turn a return to basics, “We often lose sight of the past or that moment that shaped who we are to become.”
Chef Aprile will be joined by guest Chef Rene Rodriguez (from the critically acclaimed Navarra restaurant in Ottawa) for this inspired culinary experience. In the new Origin Liberty location, the two travel back in time to revisit the dishes that ignited their passion for food. Together they will prepare original dishes that have influenced their cooking style and ultimately set their culinary trajectory.
