Winter Uber-SWAP: A Used & Vintage Clothing Exchange

Trade your cool cast-offs with 100+ stylish scavengers in Leslieville at our 9th Uber-SWAP event. Expect a thriftshop-style swap with a
tempting stash of gently used, vintage & even some new clothing, accessories & footwear. We are also accepting craft supplies & fabric.

NOTE: The main focus is on women's fashions (size XS - XL) with some plus-size items, men's & maternity wear ~ no kid's clothing or toys, please.

ADMISSION:
$6 for Advance/Early-Bird tickets + your swap loot ~ limited number available through to Sunday January 13th (or while supplies last).

Please bring your loot to the church on Saturday Jan. 19th. Thanx.

***MINIMUM Contribution: 10+ approved Current-Season, Quality Clothing Items***
--> damaged, dirty or worn out wearables won't be accepted.

TIP: If you'd hesitate to give it to a close friend or co-worker, don't bring it. Thanx!

PLEASE aim to drop off your swap stash at Nathalie-Roze & Co. (1015 Queen St. East at Pape Ave.) for sorting prior to the event.
Note: N-R & Co. is closed Mondays & Tuesdays in January.

UBER-SWAP RULES:
1. Participants are expected to contribute a minimum of 1 bag of decent cast-offs (10+ items)...no junky torn leggings or old t-shirts, please.

2. No damaged or dirty/stained items, please ~ only bring clean/decent quality stylish clothing & accessories to the SWAP. No kids or decor items, please...just wearable items you'd be proud to give to a friend.

3. Each participant may leave with 1 large tote or 2 grocery bags of wearables (a significant haul per person!). NOTE: Bags will be provided.
If you've participated before, please bring along your Uber-SWAP tee bag to use.

4. Personal Swapping Only, please!! Uber-SWAP is intended for regular Toronto gals to update their wardrobes on the cheap & have some fun ~ not aimed at Etsy sellers or vintage retailers scouting items for resale.

♥ SWEET CHARITY:
Leftover clothing will be donated to Double-Take, the Yonge Street Mission's thrift shop at 310 Gerrard St. East (near Parliament), which funds various East-End social service programs.Select items will be donated to CAMH's Suits Me Fine clothing bank & a portion of the ticket price will go into our community fund (which supports Leslieville charities & local initiatives year-round).

COAT-CHECK: For $2 attendees can leave their coats with us (supervised), while enjoying the swap. Cash from this service benefits our community fund for local charities.

~ A few *new* indie designer & vintage gems hidden in the piles from our shop (yay!)

What You Can Expect:
~ clothing & accessories divided into categories (eg. tops, shoes, dresses, etc.)
~ a bit of chaos, but lots of fun too
~ mirrors on-site, but no private change rooms, so please dress accordingly (wear leggings or layers)
