Bad Movie Night presents BIRDEMIC / TURKISH STAR WARS

It's the start of 2013 and we all have big plans for how this year is going to be different from the last! But when those plans inevitably fail, and you're left stewing in an all-pervading atmosphere of gelatinous mediocrity, what are you going to do to boost your wounded self-esteem?
The answer is to watch a couple of films that are so shoddy, that your own life looks like a textbook example of success by comparison!
Yes yes, friends: this month Bad Movie Night Toronto is presenting a veritable Cavalcade of Incompetence! Movies that aren't just bad, but so poorly made that it will boggle your heretofore sweet, innocent minds.
We'll be showing...
BIRDEMIC: SHOCK AND TERROR
Cheap CGI birds go maverick and attack a small town. They explode (?) when they fly into things! You'll need to flip a coin to decide what's more lifeless though: the birds or the actors' line readings.
DÜNYAYI KURTARAN ADAM (aka Turkish Star Wars)
Otherwise known as Turkish Star Wars, this film doesn't plagiarize the Star Wars story, but it does steal tons of footage from the franchise - allowing the world to finally know what a Turkish man piloting a TIE fighter might look like. As an added bonus, this movie will teach you how to get buff by punching rocks!
