Toronto's Old English are a stage-crowding collective of friends making shoegazy electro-pop songs that wrap their arms around you, tug at your heartstrings and rattle your bones. A German blog recently described them as "Ungemein schöner Dream-Pop aus Toronto", which Google-Translates to "Unfairly Beautiful Dream-Pop From Toronto." Celebrating the release of their album "Prose & Kahns" they promise to fill your night with good memories and a few surprises.

Drawing on a diverse range of influences from pop, electronic, and r'n'b, the Torontonians bump, grind, and bounce like nothing that came before them. And after touring sold-out theatres and festivals across the northeastern US and Canada in 2011, the world began to take notice: glowing reviews from indie-tastemakers Pitchfork (US) and la Blogotheque (France) reflected a growing global fan base; the Guardian (UK) declared them "the best band in Canada" for November of 2011. Jens Lekman, Vincent Moon, and Matt Berninger (of The National) are all fans, and by the end of the night, you’ll be one too, guaranteed.

BOSS & SWAN - 12:25am

2012 marked the birth of the musical alliance of Toronto based brother/sister duo Boss & Swan. The talented singer-producer team, bring together their skills set & musical ability merging elements of progressive house, dub-step, hip hop, with classic songwriting & abstract harmonies to invent a distinct sound unlike any other in electronic music. Dark yet uplifting, the lyrics of the songs are based on the inner thoughts of their experiences with life struggles and triumphs. The duo will be capping off the night with a set of their haunting, gorgeous and banging dance tracks.
