Heart Strings -- The Musical

Heart Strings The Musical is set in Ireland in 1908. Heart Strings is an original musical production by Playwright Reynold Nathaniel, Directed by Reynold Nathaniel, with lyrics by Chantelle Pike, Hannah Dean and Reynold Nathaniel, music by Chantal Pike, Hannah Dean.
Heart Strings The Musical opens February 12th and runs through until February 16th, 2013 -- with shows on Fridays and Saturdays, at 8:00 pm, THE ANNEX LIVE -- 296 Brunswick Ave.
The musical is set in Ireland 1908, when a young Italian apprentice, travels to Ireland to deliver a special anniversary gift. It's a story about corruption, love, drama, repentance and forgiveness.
The play opens in the grand music room of Sir William’s house. The space’s elaborate décor features antique paintings and furniture, mechanical music machines and wind and stringed musical instruments.
The principal characters are: the wealthy Sir William Thomas Cosgrave, his wife of twenty-five years, Victoria Cosgrave, and their only child, a twenty year old daughter named Elizabeth. Sir William is a content man with strong love for his wife Victoria, which she willingly reciprocates.
This is an entertaining comedy with drama, original music and a beautiful setting. Part of the proceeds from the production will support The St. Francis Table 1322 Queen St west Toronto, food for the poor and homeless.
