Tots and Technology - a Wholeplay Holiday Parenting Workshop
Join parenting expert M.E. Picher for a special holiday workshop on how media affects your little one's world: TOTS AND TECHNOLOGY. In 2011, The American Academy of Pediatrics issued a statement saying, "screen time provides no educational benefits for children under age 2 and leaves less room for activities that do." Would you like to hear about the research and make your own decision? Topics discussed will include:
Your baby’s mind- how does your baby learn?
Screen-based technology for children under the age of 2 - what does the research say?
Simple ways to enhance learning for little minds when using using Ipads and other screen-based technologies
Apps: great ones to get -- plus the ones you may want to miss
Visit our facebook page at www.facebook.com/wholeplay and register now - the workshop is provided FREE for all pre-registered guests. Just “Like” our event posting and we’ll add you to the list!
