KICKSTART the HOLIDAYS w/ The JINGLE BELL BEATS

The Global Groove Network invites you to join us for a special night of great music behind the decks and big gift giveaways as we countdown the end of 2012 and get ready for the upcoming holidays!

On the decks we have an amazing group of maestros that have been involved in the Toronto and global scene for well over a decade. This celebration of killer beats includes the talents of global star MC Flipside, Industry night club Legend and co-founder Matt C, Hooker - one half of the dynamic duo Stretch and Hooker - who were the masterminds of DOSE, and last but not least, Baby Joel; one of the co-founders of one of the hottest underground clubs in TO - Footwork. This line up is ready to bring to YOU a great night of House music for your listening pleasure as we spend a night celebrating the Toronto dance music scene and the beginning of the Christmas Holidays!

Another reason for this event is that we are in the midst of launching our final post production to finalize the Global Groove Network documentary for broadcast in 2013. As you know Films can cost quite a bit of money with all the components needed to get it out to the public in a bigger way and we are SOOO CLOSE! We recently got a distribution deal with Kinosmith - a documentary distributor in Canada - and we have to deliver the project in it's final form. We have done screenings to help get to this point in the process but we have this tiny hurdle to get over in order to get it to the general public. As an independent production company, and producer who has financed it all, I'm responsible. For many passion projects it takes the compassion of the people around you to make a dream happen. With this event everyone behind the decks has been kind enough to donate their time because they believe in the film. They also believe in the history it celebrates of the Toronto dance scene and what the music can mean to people and the individuals they become. The music and scene in the 90s here in the city shaped my identity and this 6 year process has been such a journey to show that to the world on screen.
