DANFORTH’S PASSPORT TO A HOLIDAY SHOPPING SPREE
Merchants kick off season with holiday treats and seasonal classics
The merchants of the Danforth want you to ring in this holiday season with a $1,000 shopping spree at the third annual Danforth Experience Toast to the Holidays on Friday December 7.
Toast to the Holidays is the Danforth Business Improvement Area’s (BIA) annual holiday kick off, featuring strolling carollers, complimentary treats and the popular Shopping and Sipping Celebration. A $10 All Access passport entitles shoppers to enjoy a glass of holiday cheer at each of 12 participating refreshment stations.
Passport holders are also eligible to win $1,000 in Danforth dollars to spend at any of the shops, boutiques and restaurants located within the Danforth BIA (Danforth from Broadview to Hampton Aves & Broadview Ave from the south side of Pretoria Ave to Dearbourne Ave).
A portion of the All Access passport sales will be donated to the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Clubs’ Holiday Hamper Program, providing seasonal support including food, toys and clothing to families in need.
“Our annual holiday classic captures the real spirit of the holiday season,” said Susan Puff, Executive Director of The Danforth Business Improvement Area. “It will be a magical Danforth experience.”
Toast to the Holidays runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7. Must be 19 years and older to purchase an All Access passport.
