Majestic Brahms - Anton Kuerti, piano & Ont. Philharmonic Orchestra

Pianist Anton Kuerti, one of the world’s finest exponents of the piano music of Brahms and Beethoven, performs Brahms’ majestic Second Piano Concerto in B-flat Major, Op. 83 with the Ontario Philharmonic and Maestro Marco Parisotto. Kuerti comments, “The Piano Concerti are two of Brahms' most demanding, popular and thrilling works.” Completing the program is Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E minor, a work with many allusions to the composer’s major influence, Beethoven.
