Operanation 9: Sweet Revenge

Now in its ninth year, the Canadian Opera Company’s Operanation is regarded as the must-attend arts
fundraiser of the fall social season. This year’s event will feature highly-anticipated live performances
by Nelly Furtado as well as the Arkells in collaboration with rising young opera stars of the COC’s
Ensemble Studio. Party goers will also have an opportunity to interact with original artistic endeavours
across disciplines from fashion to food and drink to visual arts. Highlights include a Sweet Revenge
inspired macaron from Nadège Patisserie, themed cocktails provided by Société Perrier in partnership
with mixologist Frankie Solarik, an art installation created by artist Dean Baldwin and the reveal of
contemporary Die Fledermaus costume designs by students and recent graduates from the School of
Fashion at Ryerson University.
