Wil Murray: Maintain The Ruin

p|m Gallery is pleased to present its first solo exhibition of works by Wil Murray. Maintain the Ruin, continues Murry's signature bombastic, composite paintings and also introduces two new series: a reflective photographic series that explores the act of painting and its documentation, and paper collage featuring the figure. For the last few years Murray lived and worked in Berlin, Germany. Murray's life in Berlin has provided the stimulus to explore mediums that until now have only been nodded to in his painting practice. A stimulus that is a resonant contradiction; emotion, place and history intermingle.
