Unit 102 Theatre, November 6th-17th, 2012
Toronto, Ontario – This fall the Canadian Classic The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine will celebrate its 25th Anniversary and what better way to celebrate then to bring back some of the original core thespians to the production. Robert Morgan brings his wisdom and knowledge of the text as the productions director, Glenn Davidson designing sets, lights and costumes and George Axxon with the original score from the 1987 production.
Ernest and Ernestine live in a perfectly ordered world until cracks appear in the veneer. Repressed anger rears its ugly head and the couple’s efforts to maintain order and affection range from comic to tragic. Playing the roles of the infamous Ernest and Ernestine are Canadian Comedy Award winners Daniel Stolfi (Cancer Can’t Dance Like This, Prank Science) and Jennifer De Lucia (The Dinner, A Crack in the Ceiling; Outstanding Performance at the 2009 Toronto Fringe). Under the direction of the six time award winner of the Chalmers Award, Robert Morgan. The show will certainly be electric, authentic and bold with colour and humour.
