Toronto Palestine Film Festival

TPFF 5th year opens with the Canadian premiere of the award winning documentary, The War Around Us, directed by Abdallah Omeish (in attendance). The film follows the only Western reporters to capture the first Israeli bombs dropped on Gaza in 2008's Operation Cast Lead.

In addition to 25 films, the TPFF features other events such as Sahtain! TPFF's Traditional Palestinian Brunch and a closing night concert: Fall of the Moon: An Homage to Mahmoud Darwish, featuring Marcel Khalifé and the Al Mayadine Ensemble; and TPFF Art Show.
