Passages to Canada - Share Our Stories, Shape Our World

Join Passages to Canada for a FREE evening of inspiration, professional development and networking at historic Hart House!

The Historica-Dominion Institute's flagship educational program, the Passages to Canada Speakers Bureau, invites Nick Noorani, founder of Canadian Immigrant Magazine, creator of the Seven Success Secrets of Canadian Immigrants and author of Arrival Survival Canada, to share stories of his immigration journey to Canada and his experiences as a Passages to Canada speaker. Learn more about Mr. Noorani at www.nicknoorani.com.

Mr. Noorani will be followed by a free story crafting workshop. Work with professional story crafting facilitators from North York Community House to develop your unique story of heritage and diversity in a way that is both compelling and promotes empathy and understanding. Hone your public speaking and presentation skills, identify critical elements in your own life story, and share your lived experience with other participants.

This workshop is a can't-miss for current and future Passages to Canada speakers and anyone who is interested in telling their story!

A short networking session with refreshments will follow.
