St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs 20th Anniversary Celebration

The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs is made up of volunteers and their dogs who visit care facilities, such as long-term care, hospitals, retirement residence, and schools or day program for children with developmental disabilities. Our volunteers and their therapy dogs bring comfort and companionship to people who are away from their families, homes, and pets for extended periods of time.

The SJA Therapy Dog Program is celebrating its 20th Anniversary on October 13 (12 to 5 pm) and 14 (12 to 3:30 pm) at Pawsway at 245 Queens Quay West. This event is open to the public with free admission. There will be a number of free children's activities, pet-first aid demos, a talent show (Saturday only) and a costume contest (Sunday only).
