Jubilation! by Michael Holt & The Kids CD Release show and call for cultural activists
An experiment in large ensemble intimacy: can we create the coziness of a living room concert by putting 13 musicians on the Tranzac floor with no microphones, surrounded by a theatre-in-the-round audience?
We will also announce the formation of a new collective called Make Our Own Culture. Are you a cultural activist - someone dissatisfied with the current culture in Toronto, and interested in inventing new traditions, projects, gatherings, events, venues, and campaigns to build more meaningful connections between people, arts, and what’s really happening on the planet? Then come get involved!
P.W.Y.W. = Pay what you wish

His last two tours abroad, the Make Our Own Culture Tour and the Transition Culture Tour have explored the role of small-scale, participatory cultural gatherings in social change.
