Small World Festival closes with a rousing party with roots in northern Brazil. Maracatu Mar Aberto brings a powerful living tradition of rhythm and song, with influences that have traveled from Africa to Brazil and on to Toronto. Maria Bonita & the Band perform Forró, the regional dance and music with its soulful mix of accordion, fiddle, guitar, flute and percussion. Dj ElMan (Dos Mundos Radio) continues to push the boundaries of tropical music.
