SCSU PRESENTS: SOCIAL JUSTICE BLOCK PARTY

During UTSC's First Dis-Orentation Week, we will be having a Block Party. This block party not only meant to discuss important issues, but also to have a bit of fun. We will be having performances, food, and activities. We will also have groups both on and off campus tabling through out the day on issues they work on. So, if you want to know how to help make a difference, this is where you need to be!!!

When: 12pm-5pm Wednesday September 19th, 2012
Where: ARC Quad (Right outside the ARC lecture hall)
What: Block Party (Proformances, food, activities, Social Justice groups)

There will be free food for those who attend the Townhall on "The Transformation of your Post-Secondary Education" the day before.

At 5pm we will be having a rally to end violence against Indigenous Women. With the alarmingly high rates of violence against Aboriginal women in Canada, this rally is meant to serve awerness among the campus
