Image and Sound: Canadian Sinfonietta Wine & Cheese Chamber Concert

Brahms, Debussy, Davydov, Cage.... With a wide variety of musical styles and influences, the first wine & cheese chamber concert of the 2012-2013 series will be a feast of image and sound.

Unique to the program is "Seascape", an interactive art performance set to the music of avant garde American composer, John Cage. Kristen Peterson and Taiya Carlton have created a database of drawings and paintings that will generate unique projections in response to the silences in Cage's work. The images will tell a story of a woman lost at sea.
