St Clarens Parkette Re-birth!

The Dundas West BIA is calling on its members, local residents and those interested in the revitalization of public space to help create a vision for the re-design of St Clarens Parkette in west end Toronto.

As part of this process, the BIA will introduce its latest mural project on Sunday, September 16 at 3pm at St Clarens Parkette (1717 Dundas Street West, south side, east of Lansdowne Avenue). The mural was designed by local artist José Ortega and sponsored by the City of Toronto and the Dundas West BIA, with materials provided by Decor Terminal.

The event will have as its guest speaker Jutta Mason from CELOS (The Centre for Local Research into Public Space), who has been vital in the transformation of Dufferin Grove Park, Campbell Park, MacGregor Park and the Wallace Emerson Rink, into hubs of community activity.

Everyone is invited to share their ideas at a workshop held right after the speakers.
