Mumbai's King - World Premiere at TIFF 2012

Set during the grand festival devoted to Lord Ganesha, when huge idols of the elephant headed God are taken in procession to the beach for immersion, Mumbai Cha Raja, written, produced and directed by Manjeet Singh, tells the story of Rahul who has to handle the chaos in his life amidst these celebrations.

When Rahul’s father beats and humiliates him up for trying to save his mother from his wrath, Rahul runs away from home and roams the rain soaked streets with his friend Arbaaz. Both kids escape the grim realities of day-to-day living by gambling, roasting stolen potatoes, stealing an auto rickshaw for a joyride, and chasing girls.

Mumbai Cha Raja features actors Rahul Bairagi, Tejas D Parvatka, Aftab Khan, Dhanshree Jain, Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan.
