Cover Me Slam

The Up From The Roots Slam Team presents the Cover Me Slam!

The concept is quite simple - each poet in the competition will cover poems by other artists. You can read or recite from memory but the key is to slam poems by other people that you admire and respect.

Two rounds of slam with cumulative scores determining the winner! Prize pak for the top slammer!

And a feature performance from the 2012 Up From The Roots Slam Team (Patrick de Belen, Ritallin, Lishai, Dwayne Morgan and Serafina)
