On Saturday, August 25th Voltaire is back in Toronto to regale you with stories and music guaranteed to make your body bounce and your brain laugh aloud. Artist, film-maker, adventurer and much, much more, this man and his guitar takes music off the main highway and down the dark, moonlit path through the trees to places that you NEED to be full of mushroom rings, will-o-wisps, strange characters and utter silliness. Voltaire never fails to offer the kind of show that you'll kick yourself hard all the way to Poughkeepsie for missing.

Joining him will be the electro-industrial circus wildness that is SQUID LID. Having only recently evolved from the deep, dark seas onto land, Squid Lid is visually exquisite even as they do incredible things to the dancefloor. Core-shaking aural sounds mixed with stunningly siren vocals are combined with sights unseen by ancient man to create a truly stunning experience.

The front room will be a lower-volume salon for those who are there to socialize in a slightly quiet setting [at least until the late night dancing begins!]. DJs Th'Elf and J-Man will be providing the 'tween performers dancefloor enjoyments.

Tickets are 10$ advance, 15$ at door.
