About the play: A hit at the Paprika Festival, HOLD FOR APPLAUSE went on to win both the BJ Castleman and Wayne Fairhead New Play Awards at the Sears Drama Festival.

About the playwright: MIRA Award-winning playwright and director Sam Godfrey is entering his final year in the Claude Watson Arts Program at Earl Haig Secondary School. He has recently returned from New York where he participated in the High School Dramatic Writing program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
