Jessie Brown at the Horseshoe Tavern!

Jessie Brown has just released her self-titled debut album here in Halifax with Carmen Townsend and The Stogies and will be kicking off her City's Disorder tour on August 10th in Halifax, and will be in Toronto come August 13th at the Horseshoe! Set is at 9:15 with no cover charge so be sure not to miss this incredible singer and her band blow off the roof that night!

Jessie Brown's powerful and expressive voice is turning heads and captivating audiences. In just two short years on the Halifax scene her performances have caught the attention of both noted local music phenoms and music fans. It is a voice that draws inspiration and invites comparisons to such classic bands and artists as Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, and Etta James.

Jessie's current band features Jessie Brown (vocals, organ), Adrian Dunn (guitar), Mike Andrews (bass), Adam Wedgewood (drums).

Jessie's self-titled album was released in June of 2012 with story-telling songs that are not only inspiring, but full of soul and emotion. This 8-track album features Jessie Brown (vocals, organ), Adrian Dunn (Guitar), Rob Crowell (Drums, Bass, Synth, Sax) and guests, Eric Landry (Trombone) and Larry Bjornson (Upright bass). Recorded at Echo Chamber and produced by Rob Crowell.
