The One Love Gala is a Fundraiser for Interfaith Prison Chaplaincy.

The Gala was born in a moment of inspiration some five years ago when Chaplaincy was under serious threat in Canada. The Chaplaincy community came together around the idea of an event that goes beyond simply advocating for the continuation of the crucial services in Canadian Prisons, to one that celebrates their work with the incarcerated.

​The One Love Gala is just that - an evening of celebration, awards and entertainment, with a dash of advocacy thrown in for good measure.

2017 Guest Speakers

Brianne Swan, our Keynote Speaker, will be speaking about her relationship with Texas Death Row inmate, Ramiro Gonzales. The multi-talented Ms Swan will also do a musical performance.

Imam Yasin Dwyer, a former Chaplain for Corrections Canada, will be speaking about his experience in providing vital spiritual services to inmates.

MPP Jagmeet Singh, Ontario New Democratic Party Anti-Racism Critic, will give his perspective on eradicating racism. He will also be presenting several awards to honor people ed guests.
