A night of Roots, Dub, Reggae, Dancehall, and Rubadub all played on vinyl all played on Big Toe's custom 12000 watt soundsystem.


The name for Scotland's Big Toe's Hi Fi was born one night in a dancehall in St. Lucia when Choppa Chop was nicknamed after his visible soccer injury. Impressed by Choppa's sound and unable to pronounce his last name, the rasta deejay exclaimed, "big up to the Big Toe!".

Today Big Toe's has become a Hi Fi with which to be reckoned across Europe. Big Toe's plays all reggae styles including dub, dancehall, bashment, and dubstep. This blend gives Big Toe's Hi Fi a sound unlike most reggae sound systems. Already established in Europe, Big Toe's has been in the process of creating a another Canadian-based version of his sound system here in Canada and has recently collaborated with Balanced Records' The Seed Organization, Version Xcursion and Dubmatix. Big Toe's Hi Fi is setting it's sight to dominate dancehalls worldwide.
