World Literacy Canada Fundraiser Satya Concert Series Featuring the Wood Brothers

Satya (Saht’-yah’), which comes from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘truth’, denotes the truth of the principle that generosity creates abundance and opportunity. At the heart of the World Literacy Canada's Satya Concert Series is the desire to promote arts literacy and the joy created through music, community and giving. Hosted by musician and Davenport MP Andrew Cash, and featuring the Wood Brothers and an opening performance by Chris Assaad.

World Literacy Canada is a small, secular, registered charitable organization that uses literacy to fight poverty and advance the cause of social justice. We support and deliver a range of community-based education projects in Canada, India, and Nepal. Proceeds from the concert series benefit our projects overseas.
