That Choir Celebrates - An Album Release

An evening to celebrate the launch of our self-titled, debut album, That Choir Celebrates will feature a live performance of the CD in its entirety. Highlighting repertoire from That Choir's past four seasons, the album includes both classic and lesser known a cappella choral works of the last two centuries.

The evening's program will also include works by Healey Willan, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen.

Now in its fourth year, That Choir combines a high standard of performance with storytelling through choral music as one of Toronto’s most exciting a cappella groups. Formed in the spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends, That Choir now draws together 24 auditioned members with diverse backgrounds in work and study.
