“An event dedicated to Brazilian rhythms”

VYGA (Verde Yellow Green Amarelo) was founded in February 2012 by a team of journalists, producers and Brazilian musicians united by the idea of establishing an event production organization whose ambition is to promote and share with Canadians the diverse offerings that the Brazilian cultural scene in Toronto has cultivated.
Our aim is to strengthen awareness of these artists’ work as well as to bridge gaps in musical relations between Canada and Brazil. With such ambitions, the VYGA Project is presenting its second cultural event rooted in different segments of Brazilian art and music. A journey through samba, bossa nova, jazz, forró, maracatu, MPB, baião, electronic, rock and more will all be part of the evening’s performances.
